Greeting Macedonia Family and Friends!

By the grace of God, we made it through another week. Perhaps for some of you this week was very, very tough and for others maybe not as bad. But regardless, by the grace of God, you have made it through another week. I want to encourage you to keep your eyes on what lies ahead and forgetting about what happen this week. Think about this, we are one week closer to getting through this Coronavirus shutdown. Yes, that’s right, trouble don’t last always.

So be encouraged. We are a week closer to going back to work, coming back to church, going to the movies, your child going back to school, or hosting a barbeque at your house and inviting lots of your friends. Yes, being able to go back to enjoying the things that this Coronavirus has robbed us of being able to do with each other.

Now, having said all that, I don’t know how long it’s going to be before we will be able to go back to enjoying those things, but I do know this. We are one week closer than we were last week!! So tomorrow when we come together, let’s bring with us a rejoicing spirit.

Beginning at 8:30am as Deacon Dr. David Lisbon will be answering questions that you may have about the Coronavirus and then continuing with the same rejoicing spirit at 9:45am in our worship service. I can hear Mr. Charles Porter, Sr. singing “I’m so glad that trouble don’t last always, I’m so glad that trouble don’t last all waaays, I’m so glad that trouble don’t last all ways, Oh my Lord, Oh my Lord, What shall I do?” .

So, share the link below with as many family and friends that you can inviting them to join in with us tomorrow as we celebrate God getting us one week closer to getting back together.

PEACE & LOVE

John L. Brooks

Greetings, Macedonia Family and Friends! With the endless cycle of bad COVID news and turbulent election news, isn’t it wonderful to know “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 NIV)?!
