Macedonians,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope that this letter finds you doing well. As you all are aware of, we are during a pandemic with the Coronavirus and its recommendations and restrictions due to the recent requests of our government officials.
Mayor Quinton Lucas updated his State of Emergency proclamation on Monday “to disallow any gathering or events with more than 10 attendees” in accordance with the latest CDC guidance announced earlier Monday by the Trump administration.:
Here at Macedonia I want to put you at ease by knowing that your church will still be here, and functioning at alternative levels. We know that these are difficult times and that some will need the church for comfort and guidance, and we want you to know that we are working to still serve the needs of the membership. We will suspend our Wednesdays bibles studies and our Sunday’s worship services. Until we can come back together physically as brothers and sisters in Christ. But until then here is how we will have our services.

Tithes and Offering
During this time, it is imperative that we continue to give our tithes and offering and continue to support our building fund. I am aware that there will be hardships that will occur as a result of this pandemic. Therefore, it is of the upmost importance that there will be funds to help those in need. And, we have staff and we must make sure that they continue to get compensated during this period. Call the church during regular business hours if you need any clarity or assistance because of this unprecedented time. Listed below are ways to give:

In conclusion I want you to know that I will be praying for you and I encourage you to remember the words of the Apostle Paul to the church in Philippi during their time of uncertainty. I say to you Macedonians rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all during this time of the Coronavirus but be anxious for NOTHING but everything by prayer and petition let your request be known unto God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, if something is excellent or praiseworthy think about these things. And the God of peace will be with you. I will be sending out encouraging messages during this time of turbulence so if you have a family member, friend, co-worker or neighbor that needs encouragement please encourage them to sign up for Breeze (https://macedonia.breezechms.com/form/NewMembers16) to receive my devotionals and words of encouragement.
PEACE & LOVE
Pastor John L. Brooks
