Greetings Macedonia and Friends!
This past week shows us that in the midst of the storm God is still blessing!! He blessed us Sunday as we worshipped via Livestream. Indeed, we had a wondrous worship service focusing on Philippians 4:6-9:
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, REJOICE! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Bible gives many lessons on worrying and makes it very clear how we are to eliminate worrying from our lives. The Apostle Paul tells us simply not to worry, “Do not worry about anything...” Philippians 4:7.
There is no room for exceptions! We are not to worry about anything!
I know you may ask, “What shall we do with matters that we would normally worry about?”
Simply said, we are to put our worries in the hands of God through prayer and leave them there! If we do this, then the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds from all anxieties.
Remember, GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL AND HE PROMISED US THAT HE WOULD NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE US!
I am looking forward to tomorrow’s Livestream.
Sunday School at 8:30 am and Worship Service at 9:45 am.
