Our Purpose

At Macedonia Baptist Church, the GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief.  GriefShare meets for 13-week sessions which include a helpful workbook, videos, honest and confidential conversations, and encouragement from people who get it- because they’ve been there.

Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat or orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief in all its unpredictability and gain solid support in each step of the way.

Together, we’ll learn how to face the emotions of grief, rebuild strength, and take meaningful steps toward healing.

At Macedonia Baptist Church, the Grief Share Support Ministry is to be a source of love, care, encouragement, and help in grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family member or friend so that they feel the healing comfort of God.

When You're Ready

Grief doesn’t have a schedule. You may not feel ready today — and that’s okay.

Just know that when you are ready, we’ll be here to walk with you.
