Greetings, Macedonia Family and Friends!
Today’s world, and consequently, our lives, have been thrust into a robust cycle of change. Every day it seems like something else happens. Sometimes it might feel like we’re the little ball in a pinball machine - being catapulted into and then bounced around from issue to issue. Then, just when we think things have calmed down... WHAM! We are shot right back into the thick of things. Well, despite everything I’ve been through I still thank God. In fact, I feel a song deep in my spirit that says, “I’ve had some good days. I’ve had some hills to climb. I’ve had some weary days and some sleepless nights. But when I look around and I think things over, all of my good days outweigh my bad days. I won’t complain.” I encourage you to take inventory of all God has done for you — count ALL your blessings, big and small, and after you’ve lost count (and I’m confident you will) say, “Thank you Lord!” When you begin your day, say it. In the middle of the day, say it again. Throughout the day, say it some more. And, before going to sleep, say it again! “I just want to take a little time right now to say, ‘THANK YOU LORD!’, for all you’ve done for me!”
I don’t feel no ways tired. We’ve come too far from where we started from. Nobody told us the road would be easy. I don’t believe He brought us this far to leave us. So, let me encourage you. Keep trusting! Keep believing. Keep giving! Your continued faithfulness through tithes and offering matters!! Finally, keep sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ! Not just because we were commissioned to do so, but also because of His goodness and lovingkindness!
Join us tomorrow for Bible Study. Invite someone to join you as you participate! Share the links below!
Please SIGN UP for COMMUNITY GROUPS! Go to our website. These are exciting times with new innovative approaches and strategies for kingdom-building. In days like these, we should work even harder to shine God’s light and be the salt we are called to be of the earth!
I close by reminding you that we are instructed to “pray unceasingly” and we can do so boldly — another one of those countless blessings in our lives! So, let’s keep praying and let’s keep pressing!!
Peace & Love,
John L Brooks
