Greetings, Macedonia Family and Friends!
I begin today’s encouragement with an expression of David’s firm assurance of God’s blessings on his life as a reminder of God’s perpetual love and goodness toward us. Sometimes in the midst of life’s struggles, challenges, and strife we can get lost in the forest and forget Who loves us, Who is with us, Who will never leave nor forsake us — God, our Father, our Redeemer, our Fortress, our Refuge, our Solid Rock, our All-In-All!
By definition, the word “surely” “emphasizes the speaker’s firm belief that what they are saying is true and often their surprise that there is any doubt of this”. Has not God shown us repeatedly that He can and will take care of us? That He loves us? That He will provide for and protect us? Can we not stand with a blessed assurance on His Promises to us? Absolutely, we can! And during times like these, how can we not?
